Our Attorney's

David L. Ethredge

David Ethredge is proud to be a native of Arkansas. Raised in Southern Arkansas, David received his Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry from Louisiana Tech University, and he received his Juris Doctorate of Law from the University of Arkansas School of Law at Little Rock. David began his legal career by joining with Osmon Law Firm in 1989, and he was admitted to the Arkansas bar in 1989. David and his wife, Susan, have two children: Laura, who is an Attorney in Kansas City, Kansas, and Michael, who attends the University of Arkansas. David enjoys hiking, kayaking and all types of outdoor activity. He is actively involved at East Side Baptist Church and is on the Baxter Regional Medical Center Advisory Board and the Pregnancy Resource Center Board of Directors.

Johnnie A. Copeland

Johnnie Copeland is also a native of Arkansas. Raised in Blytheville, Arkansas, Johnnie attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Communication Studies and Psychology. She went on to obtain a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.  Johnnie received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock Bowen School of Law. After graduating and moving to Mountain Home to be closer    to her husband’s family, she joined the firm of Osmon & Ethredge in 2005. In January, 2010, David and Johnnie became partners in the firm of Ethredge & Copeland, P.A..  Johnnie and her husband, Scott, have one child, Colin. Johnnie enjoys cooking, reading, and gardening. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Baxter Day Service Center.

Our Team

Donna Goodwin

Donna has worked in the legal field for the past 25 years. She grew up in West Plains, Missouri, and moved to Mountain Home in 1996. She joined our staff in 2001 as Legal Assistant to David Ethredge. Donna is experienced in a wide range of legal areas, but focuses primarily on family law, criminal matters, guardianships, adoptions, and Social Security disability. She is a member of East Side Baptist Church and has served as a volunteer at the Mountain Home Christian Clinic for several years. Donna has three children and two grandchildren. She enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with her family.

Elona Boyd

Elona obtained her Paralegal Certificate in 1993 and worked for an extended period of time in the corporate world. She joined our staff as Paralegal in July 2008. Elona is responsible for civil and contract issues, personal injuries, auto accidents, wrongful deaths, debts, and bankruptcy matters. She is also involved in trial preparation for both attorneys. Elona was born in Oklahoma, but spent five years of her childhood in British Columbia, Canada before moving to Norfork. Elona and her husband have four children and four grandchildren. She is a nature and animal lover, and enjoys outdoor activities, music, good food, and spending time with family and friends.
