David L. Ethredge
David Ethredge is proud to be a native of Arkansas. Raised in Southern Arkansas, David received his Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry from Louisiana Tech University, and he received his Juris Doctorate of Law from the University of Arkansas School of Law at Little Rock. David began his legal career by joining with Osmon Law Firm in 1988, and he was admitted to the Arkansas bar in 1989.
David and his wife, Susan, have two children: Laura, who attends law school in Kansas City, Missouri, and Michael, who attends the University of Arkansas. David enjoys hiking, kayaking and all types of outdoor activity. He serves as a Deacon at East Side Baptist Church and is on the Baxter Regional Medical Center Advisory Board and the Pregnancy Resource Center Board of Directors.
Johnnie A. Copeland
Johnnie Copeland is also a native of Arkansas. Raised in Blytheville, Arkansas, Johnnie went on to receive her Bachelor of Art's degree in Communication and Psychology from Vanderbilt University. After obtaining her Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Arkansas, Johnnie received her Juris Doctorate of Law degree from the University of Arkansas School of Law at Little Rock. She joined the firm of Osmon & Ethredge in 2006 and was admitted to the Arkansas bar that same year.
Johnnie and her husband, Scott, have one young child, Colin. Johnnie enjoys cooking, reading, and gardening. She serves on the Board of the Baxter Day Service Center.
Patricia L. Ades
Patti began working for Osmon & Ethredge in February 2002 as our Bookkeeper/Office Manager. She is responsible for a wide range of duties, from answering telephones and greeting our clients, to handling our accounts payable and receivable, client billings, payroll, monthly and quarterly reports, and general ledger. She also conducts our real estate closings and helps with the preparation of other legal documents and correspondence. After graduating from Corning High School in Iowa, Patti moved to Des Moines where she met and married her husband, Brian. The couple then relocated to Denver, Colorado, where Patti worked for an oil and gas company. When her husband re-enlisted in the Navy in 1982, they served in various posts, including San Diego, California, Charleston, South Carolina, and Hawaii. Patti has worked in insurance, marketing, legal, healthcare, and for a general contractor. When her husband retired from the military in 1998, they moved to Mountain Home to be close to family. Patti and Brian have two grown children: Heather and her husband Klay, and Christopher and his wife Kary. Patti enjoys spending time with her husband and family, vacationing in warm climates, and traveling to new places. She is an avid reader who particularly enjoys medical mysteries and all types of fiction. Patti has served as a volunteer at the Mountain Home Christian Clinic for 10 years.
Donna has worked in the legal field for the past 25 years. She grew up in West Plains, Missouri, and moved to Mountain Home in 1996. She joined our staff in 2001 as Legal Assistant to David Ethredge. Donna is experienced in a wide range of legal areas, but focuses primarily on family law, criminal matters, guardianships, adoptions, and Social Security disability. She is a member of East Side Baptist Church and has served as a volunteer at the Mountain Home Christian Clinic for several years. Donna has three children and two grandchildren. She enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with her family.
Vicki has 30 years of experience in the legal field and received her Paralegal Certificate in 2002. Prior to joining our staff as Legal Assistant in 2008, she was President of the Legal Assistants of the Western Slope and served as an Administrative Law Judge for the Colorado Department of Labor. In addition to working on family law and criminal matters for Johnnie Copeland, Vicki is responsible for our corporations, probates, guardianships, and wills and trusts. Raised in Southern Missouri, Vicki spent her summers on Norfork Lake. After living for several years in Durango and Grand Junction, Colorado, she and her husband relocated to Mountain Home in 2008 to be closer to family. In her free time, Vicki enjoys reading and writing fiction.
Kelli M. Fouts joined the law firm in January, 2012. She is responsible for assisting with all bankruptcies, personal injuries, auto accidents, wrongful deaths, and the majority of civil lawsuits. Kelli is also involved in trial preparation for both attorneys. After graduating from Mountain Home High School, she received her Associates of Arts degree from Arkansas State University in Mountain Home. She then moved to Northwest Arkansas and interned at the United States Attorneys Office in Fort Smith during her last semester. Kelli finished top of her graduating class with a Paralegal Degree from the University of Arkansas, Fort Smith. She enjoys playing tennis, being outdoors, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
